I am fascinated by the revival of awe. IMO, it is so good for the soul of humans of all ages. It lifts us up. One surprise for me is that it doesn't seem to lead to a discussion of God, any god, a creator, a higher power. I find that curious.
Absolutely, so good for the soul. I think that depending on beliefs of the individual experiencing awe there can certainly a spiritual or faith connection. That is one of the interesting things about awe, it can be universal as in we are all capable of experiencing awe but the meaning we make of it may be unique to us.
I love this book on awe, such a great topic and my goodness, don't we all need more awe in our lives?
Absolutely!
