I've of course packed too many books for a trip! I had some books I really wanted to get to this summer so I am jamming them in during my trip, where of course my kids will leave me alone so I can read them all!
I have the most organized of TBRs: all stacked away in my head 🥴. It’s not a good system (it’s actually pretty terrible one) but I do eventually make it to reading off of it (sometimes years later). Mostly, I’m moody child in a candy store. How do I feel in that moment? What’s bright and shiny? 😂
I have a pile next to my nightstand of the books I own that are yet to be read. Then on my local library website, I have no less than 4 TBR lists. "TBR", which is books published within the last several years. "Backlist TBR", which is books published before that. "Classics TBR" which is for classics/what I perceive to be classics (such as Roots, and Tender is the Night), and Nonfiction TBR. I can never hope to read them all.
Sometimes I get a little melancholy that I can’t possibly read all that I want to but what a great problem to have, there are too many stories to get to.
I'm definitely a mood reader. I like picking 3 books from my pile and reading the first page of each to see what chimes best. A fun activity in itself for book nerds!

I do this in the library, I have all my books planned and then a book is just sitting there on the display and I can't help myself.
