This really left a mark on me. My negative self-talk is so automatic and ingrained in me that I find it very hard to respond to hard situations with self-compassion. The fact that you highlighted mindfulness is eye-opening because I truly do need that pause to reflect and turn the tide against the rising negative emotions.

I am so glad it is helpful. I talk and think about this stuff all the time and I still don't catch it. I have a lot of moments like whoa there that got negative fast. It takes practice. We have to be self-compassionate about self-compassion practice.

I am someone that was not new to mindfulness and self-compassion but when I heard that in the training--it really took my understanding to a new level. So simple and so important. I am so glad it is helpful to you too.
